Help with Enrico
« on: February 06, 2009, 02:08:32 PM »

I've been trying to figure out the fingering for Enrico (a great session tune) and I am really struggling to find a way to play it in a competent way - Are there any suggestions out there at all?

Thanks

I play Enrico mostly on the D row, except that

1. On the 8th bar of the A music (end of the first phrase) I cross over to play the A note on the inside row on the pull, to give an A chord on the bass.
2. On bar 4 of the B, cross over to play the B note on the push on the inside row, and use the G bass.
3. On bar 8 of the B. cross over to play the A note on the pull, to give the A chord.

That's assuming you are playing it in D on a D/G box, of course.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Pauline

That helps me tremendously - very much appreciated.
