I agree with Nick, such an aerosol spray could find a home with me too.

I'd like a tablet to take each evening, so that after tea I'd take it and feel instantly awake for an honour or so. Then I could put in meaningful practice each night rather than having to rouse myself from a lovely glowing wood burner, traipse into another room and try not to fall asleep over the bellows  ::)

ahhh well, I wrote it whilst taking the first cup of tea of the day so not truely awake!
I *like* your definition of the MBE....... and as you're nominating - I graciously accept.

Any kind of medication that will make practising for an hour a day an addictive experience... rather than an ''Oh God, I suppose I'd better get some practise in..'' :||: :||:

I find it addictive, but after a day at work with an early start, I'm not at my best in the evenings.
Some nights are ok, some nights I'm just too tired. I find it's only weekends I can meaningfully practice.

I have just put up on ebay a small number of tea / coffee mugs with melodeon related anecdotes printed on them

Would make ideal stocking fillers  :|glug

Dear Santa, do you think it would be possible to have a GPS  device fitted to my melodeon case ?
I ask because at Sidmouth this year my case disappeared  from where I had left it. There were many teams along the seafront and all having done their stint moved on.  The bods, eg bagmen moved the kit along as well , including my case , not knowing that it wasn't part of their team. Took me and friends an hour find it and only identified because it had a pair of knickers and some tea bags inside.

I am currently listening to Tim Van Eyken & Robert Harbron "One Sunday Afternoon" - thoroughly recommended.  Inspirational CD.

You'd probably be better with this bluetooth device, unless you plan to leave it on a plane.  At $18.95 it looks "nicely priced". Needs a smart phone app, and some charge in same's battery …

Dear Santa,
Could I have  a small device that doesn't wreck my wrist when playing a Hohner Pokerwork ?
