This format cropped up on another site.
The suggestion was that button accordions were so unfashionable  that some were built to mimic piano keys.
Sounds silly but I did know someone who couldn't get work because a diatonic 2-row wasn't a proper accordion - he was "forced" to take up CBA to keep the bookings flowing.

Yes, it's a tricked out CBA.  Nice piece of kit.

The black keys are purely decorative, usually they're made to look more like a standard piano keyboard rather than just alternating like this one.  Morbidoni made one and I've also seen one labelled Polka King.
