Hi Robin, I know that as "Off to California" but it probably has several other names.

If you've got a layout with accidentals, try playing the second bar of the B part:

|: g>fe>g f>ed>f | e>^de>f e>=dB>d| .....

It makes a bog standard tune like Off to California slightly more interesting.  (At least for me it does.)  Just give your session mates fair notice.  :)

Hi!

Thanks! I'd love to try out your suggestion. I tried to read the abc file with Barfly and Tune O Tron but it didn't work... Help?

Anyway the music score is more a general tune shape written out for friends than The definitive "Right Way it should be played" ;)
I never play quite the same thing twice, so welcome to any ideas to explore tunes' hidden secrets!!!

For barfly you'd have to take the abc file with all the proper headers, and then replace the first two bars of the B-part with what is written above.  It won't read scraps.
