The first is The (Sussex?) Cotillion - http://www.folktunefinder.com/tune/15392/

The second is Robertson's Hornpipe, a hornpipe version of Robertson's Reel that's in Nick Barber's blue tunebook.

The first is The (Sussex?) Cotillion - http://www.folktunefinder.com/tune/15392/

The first tune is the Chain Cotillion, aka The Louisa, though Ollie is right in that it's often just known as The Cotillion or Sussex Cotillion. The late Barry Callaghan traced several appearances of the tune for his wonderful 'Hardcore English' book.

..................try this if you want the original tune ( I assume ? Happy to be corrected) from France, in 4 parts.
My feeling is the 4 parts elevate the tune from the merely great to gob-smackingly awesome !
