Keyboard layout
« on: January 30, 2014, 06:38:52 AM »

I've been looking at the excellent  keyboard layout charts on this forum and am just trying to get my head around the 4th key start thing as there are a few boxes around set up that way -  the Black Pearl III for example.   Which of the keyboard charts (if any of them) would relate to a box like that with a fourth key start?

Help please - I'm (easily) confused!   :-[

This layout here should be applicable to a 4th button start instrument with low notes and accidentals. The only difference is that on a BP3 you have 21 treble buttons, not 23, so the highest buttons shown on the diagram will be missing.

See http://chrisryall.net/chords/

Default is D/G 1960's English but if you press the D/G 1/4 start button it will change and you can try out the other system (Anahata "G" layout) which is what I used for mine. Click the keys for sound (if bowser suitable)P

.. avoid the Ryalair button  >:E

Thanks Chris.   Another new toy to play with!   Of course, as soon as someone tells me NOT to press a button I have a compulsion to do so.   ROFL as they say in some fora!!     ::)
