Really enjoyed it too. Took: 1 row G, 1 row C, D harmonica. Should have taken 1 row D, 1 row G, plus 1 row C in the car's boot just in case. Not played so much harmonica in years! I'll know next time. Also enjoyed the Polkaworks session and, as a Lincolnshire lad, the tribute to the late Brian Dawson.

Loved it.  Exhillarating sessions.   Wish I'd seen the hiking boot shopping bag stepdancer!   Proper job.

Roll on next year, wherever it might be.

Unfortunately, the word didn't get round very well at Winster, but we should record that, on the Sunday, an award was made by Doc Rowe on behalf of the Folklore Society to melodeon player Rod Stradling and singer/ percussionist Danny Stradling, in recognition of their role in the founding of ECMW back in the 1970s and helping to sustain it and the music that many of us love since then. Rod & Danny were members of Oak and founder members of the Old Swan Band and Tiger Moth. Rod was a member of Edward the Second (E2) and of the English Country Dance Band, and currently of Phoenix. Congratulations to Rod & Danny!
Cheers

I've Posted some videos to the facebook ECMW page  - plenty of (heard) melodeon action.  My Pariselle features briefly on the left, perched on the case (I was playing the Liliput at the time).

Some stepping and one especially featuring Polkaworks.
