Can I be the first to ask why? My reason for asking is I think some of what makes aLiliput what it is is the Hohner sound and thus you need the original reeds. Of course this is just my opinion and yours may be different

The simple answer is no.

Standard reeds can have the reedplates filed down to reduce the width by 1.5mm which will enable them to fit.  The reeds may also be shorter than normal.  I've asked Cagnoni who I usually buy reeds from, and they say they can't.  The problem seems to be that all their reed making machine tools depend on the reedplates being standard width for the workpiece holding devices to function.

No, I like the sound of the reeds.  I was just wondering about other tuning options.  Has anyone retuned a C/F lilliput to a semitone tuning?
