So, despite the 'oh crikey it sounds awful' when you listen back to yourself, I'm sure it's doing some good.
Not awful at all - very nice indeed.  I like the bounce in the rhythm (:) N

Agreed, nice bounce and rhythm and a lovely sounding box. Thanks for posting  (:)

This has reminded me of two things: a) I play this tune too fast and b) I've got a lovely old C/F Hohner too (funny that).

I think it's time to dig out the ol' C/F and give it a blast.

Well done Spikey! And yes, I agree with everything Helena said  (:)
I think we 'less confident' players are taking over!!! Lets keep the momentum going, we are all benefitting from each other. :||: I too have a Pre Pokerwork C/F that I don't play very often, I must get it out of the box - what a shame that some of us have to work!

Thank you Nigel, Helena and Arty (:)

Even though my Baffetti is always the box I reach for first, I keep all ('only' 4, so not too MAD afflicted) my boxes out on the piano and the bookshelf so that they are ready to hand.  Mind you, I get very cross when anyone else in the family leaves stuff lying around.

Gerday All,

And here's my effort - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICwa2AkyRjs

Didn't quite get up to having any bass, but am still very happy with my progress over the past few weeks.

My very first TotM contribution.

http://youtu.be/hAcvwk4lP00

Too slow and not accurate but after several aborted attempts the best I could manage. Found the click track (hence the cans) useful in that I was concentrating so hard on sticking with the tempo I didn't fluff so many notes.

Seemed perfectly accurate to me and as to speed, it is always harder to play slowly, in time, than to whizz through a tune so well done  (:)

My first thought when I watched this was 'Wow, they're having a rotten summer again in the UK', and then I noticed the koala... just a little slow off the mark here.

Well played (:)

I have to agree with Lester, you played this with great confidence and the steady tempo left you with nowhere to hide. Good job you didn't need anywhere to hide!  ;D

Nice! I like the use of drones in that, I'll have to see if I can learn some variations using those :D

And as I said I'd upload another version with any improvements at the end of the month, here's another from me: http://youtu.be/ogcw_Posvq4

It was on about take 4000, so my apologies for the somewhat dodgy timekeeping and mistakes ;D

Nice looking and sounding box!

Aye, hopefully I'll do it justice someday :D
It's also far fancier than any piece of furniture I own; it's kinda showing up the IKEA sofa it sits next to.

A 'nick of time' contribution this month.  A quick version, unfortunately slightly over-recorded, and at one point the sound of fighter jets flying over the Lake District can be heard. Turn your speakers down a bit for this one! I've paired it with a William Irwin tune.

Well done people - great to see more people having a go and all the different versions - keep it up next month! Late entries as ever, just put them on the end of this thread.
