I,ve been thinking about recording the exhaust tones of my 1982 Triumph Bonneville and using that for a change from musical ringtones.

Lovely - is that the three or four stop Bonneville?  I guess that ring tone comes with it's own vibration?

Another Triumph owning melodeonist

Trevor

Not a Triumph but a Velocette in my case, any more bike owning melodeonists?

I have a Raleigh - does that count? The bell would be quite a good ringtone in fact! ;D

I have a Moto Morini 3 1/2 - expensive, good-looking, great-performing Italian machine a bit like my Castagnari Lilly  (:)

Tony Hall and myself both ride Honda Transalps.

Until recently I had a Moto Guzzi 850 T5. Lovely old bike but way too heavy for my rickety knees. It fell off the stand once and I almost had to call the AA to come and lift it up!

Yup, me.
Honda CBR1000.

My phone is so old it only comes with the standard 8-10 factory ringtones.  No camera, big buttons, large blocky letters on the screen.....Luddite bliss.

Last time I wandered through Theo's garage there was this really odd old bike with what looked like a gear lever stuck on the side of the petrol tank and a bizarre logo thingy that looked for all the world like the profile of a North American Indian Chief in full head dress.

Honestly, the things some people cling on to.   ::) ;D

Sorry, I had to sell my Bantam  >:E  :'( , I can't afford an Indian so I've only got the Kawasaki ER5. does this count?

Ps. My ring tone is Tiger Moth playing "Speed the Plough".  :D

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

Can stand it no longer - I have to 'fess up and say that my ringtone is The Great Sir Jimmy Shand playing ........'Bluebell Polka' of course. Why don't we have a 'hangs head in shame' emote??? Ah well, 'embarrassed' will have to do.

There is no shame in choosing a melodeon classic - at least not on this forum  (:)
But if someone hears your phone ring and says isn't that The White Heather Club, then you've got some serious explaining to do.

Phew! Thank God for that. Having said that, my stock in trade answer to the question 'is that the White Heather Club?' - is a mere 'grunt'. I mean , I really can't be getting into that conversation at my tender age can I?
