Quiet over here, isn't it? I notice the concertina.net theme running concurrently with ours is quite quiet too; ah well, it was a nice idea anyway.
Yes it is Clive, I'm not sure if this is odd but here's my try at a march mix.
I think the tempo is pretty steady, my playing not so much.
I know I'm not playing the last tune "right"
O'Donnell's abu , yankee doodle, abu, when the saints GMI (Did I do that leg kick thing at the end? ;D)

danceable ?

Till the extra beat comes in, I see what you did there!  What's the red box with the nice warm tone in the first video?

Hopefully that was when I jumped to Good bye Mick ? as I would not throw that in, if playing for dance.

Yes I liked it

 It's a Baldoni Bros.

That explains why it sounds so good.

Dixie Blossoms, (loosely taken from Art Galbraith's interpretation), and Valse a Phillippe Bruneau (I think). The first tune is new to me a week ago, (not on the melodeon), and the other has been on the back burner for a while. Having thought them an odd coupling they seem perfectly compatible bedfellows with hindsight.

Best regards from a presently sunny Suffolk.

I really like your selections, Bill. Those were nice! Here's my attempt, played as a duet on a Castagnari Lilly and an Anglo concertina made by Mr. Robt. Tedrow:
              Newcastle / Camptown Races
Not likely to hear these played in the same venue, but would be a great surprise for a Jane Austin style country dance party  (:)

It's very quiet this month.....

So here is a strange pairing, and to keep Chris happy both tunes are in the sane time signature  ;)

The German set:
Huntsmans Chorus from the playing of the Beresfords in Buckden, Yorkshire (the Tour de France went through there), which comes from the Entracte to Der Freischutz by Weber

Followed by 'Beethoven', which is a heavily tailored version of the Ode to Joy from his 9th symphony.

Is that odd enough ??  ;)

Oh, and played on my trusty and well worn Hohner Pokerwork, who is coming up to his 37th birthday. In 1977 he cost £80.75, with no case, no straps, no strap brackets, and no accidentals ! Hence the unusual strap arrangement.

We use a little known tune called "Pete's thing" which consists of the A tune from "1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive.." and the B tune from "Golden Slippers" - manly because I got a bit confused when playing it once, and it sort of stuck !

New month, new theme folks! Late additions as ever always welcome, just stick them on the end here!
