Ottowa's "the Finest Kind" deconstuct one of their pieces, with alternative lyrics showing what is going on in the arrangement There isn't a melodeon in sight, but for me the "instant" description just works, it also demo's the many different things that can be done with even the most familiar melody

btw … I do know some harmony groups who do only the first 3 verses of "barleycorn"', in unison, sort of get him "growing up high", then medley to "fathom the bowl" in a different key and rhythm :-\
