I've at last managed to use the "F" bass/chord on my "C" one-row correctly. As all the buttons are in one row, unlike any of my other boxes, I've always sfound it hard to use these (well, deliberately anyway!)  :||:  :Ph   :|glug

I'm a Yorkie!
My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

Congratulations! ;D

I presume from your description this a 1040?  I used to have one and would liken the basses to playing a three chord trick in D on a D/G - then I discovered that some of them have the pairs the other way round, bums!  Get a four-stop and you don't have to worry anymore.

yes...but worth mentioning that you can't get a 4 stop unless you're over 18.   :D

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet
