The band Triette are Nick Wiseman-Ellis (Melodeon) Nic Zuppardi (mandolin) Ida Meidell Blylod  (fiddle) are playing some of my favourite music to dance to today.  Here is a sample https://soundcloud.com/triette/le-petit-bal-de-la-marine

Wow! I can see why you like it. Very nicely played and a tune I really like but just can't seem to get the hang of.

people who think "euro" music (this is French, very regional) music lacks rhythm should follow through to the bourrée next tune!

Just noticed that Nick and Nic (aka 'The Two Nicks') are playing at French dance club On Bouge in London on the 12th of September - see www.onbouge.co.uk and www.twonicks.co.uk where you could send them a message to confirm the gig if you're planning to make a journey.

Cheers,

Clive
