I usually add malt whisky to water. Just to kill any bugs there might be.

Wow! Small world........
I'll be there with Great Western, we're currently all sorting out deposits to get a deal on flights across. I'm a dancer with the side, but we'll have 2 good box players coming, and I hope to be able to take my melodeon over too for some tunes in the post dance sessions...... So long as cabin baggage allowances work out.
Look forward to meeting you too!

In the American Midwest, on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan.

And here I thought I was the only one in Michigan!

Gosport. The Ae?@ end of Hampshire. Drive the 3 miles from Fareham on the A32 if you've got a couple of days, a sleeping bag and victuals.
Came ashore after 24 years Navy time, now with Wickham Morris and having fun (must be the dressing up!!!!).

Having lived/worked there for 2 years I can assure you that it is fact Whiteley that is the true Ar$e end of Hampshire. ~10000 residents + HQ buildings of various multi-nationals all accessing the are down a single road from a single motorway junction.  :o

You are right if the world was to have piles, that's where they would be.  Turktown was my stomping ground when I was a nipper. It was always quicker to row a boat down the creek than to drive from Fareham

Spent time down there when I was at Collingwood. Was an OEA/A and then changed to to MEA (EL). Wish I had began the melodeon then  ::)

So pleased that others have suffered the A32. Lester, they widened the Motorway for Whiteley traffic it only backs up to the Hamble bridge now, maybe a mile or so.
The 10 years before I retired were spent in Collingwood Instructing embedded micros and electronic design, just like being back in the Pusser. Still keep my caravan there.

While walking the rocks of Halibut point state park in Rockport, Ma. , I asked my 3 yr old daughter the same Question.
I was video taping and wanted her to tell me "Halibut point" ,which she did know.
Her answer was "right here".
