Must say John it has been a very interesting thread, and not really deviating.
I wonder what the plastic one sounds like in reality?

May shed some light on the workings of the transparent box Nick  ;D, personally I think its a cheat - cling film was after all invented by NASA as a substitute for zephyr, (just after Teflon and WD40, it was a wednesday morning IIRC) so why can't we see through the bellows  ???

Its amazing how much effect the type of clear plastic used in these has on the tone which do folk think is better, acrylic or polycarbonate ??

I thought it had quite a clear tone.

Waiting patiently and excitedly for the arrival of my Dini Baffetti Mini (Cherry) due any time now, and the parting of my original Castagnari Studio (very sad...said my goodbye) ...I was wondering if any of the friends on this forum had any comments on the wood finishes available. I am now almost all Walnut as it suits my colouring. Do they make a difference playing wise?πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I don't see what difference the material makes once you've had it resprayed in Cardiff City colours...  Do you need one box in home strip and another in away?
