« on: October 20, 2014, 12:19:52 PM »

I have a Lachenal 22 button English concertina circa 1865 ( bought by mistake, thanks to alcohol and EBay. It's called the Grape Ape syndrome) to give away.
The trouble is it will need to be earned, like a question or something and I'm not sure how to do this. Any suggestions Gang?

Thanks for that Theo, but this will be more fun.
Here's the question:
Give me a perfectly grammatical sentence that includes five consecutive "and" it must be punctuated correctly.
First correct answer wins although the winner will have to pay postage.
Best of luck Gang.  8)

The landlord of a pub called The Pig And Whistle asked a signwriter to make a new sign. When he saw it he thought that the spacing of the words was wrong so he said to the signwriter “I want more space between Pig and And, and And, and Whistle”.

My name is Lester and I claim my prize  (:)

You could have asked the harder 13 'and' question:

Messrs Bland and Andrews, Solicitors and Commissioners for Oaths, ordered a new brass plate for the offices, due to a breakdown in communications when it arrived it looked like this

Bl And   and        And   Rews - Solicitors and Commissioners for Oaths

So the wrote to complain.

The spaces between Bl and And and And and and and and and And and And and rew are either erroneous or inconsistent!
