Had a hard time logging on today, between 4:00 and 5:00 PM (US, EST); received these two error messages:

"Table './melonnet_smf2/smf2_sessions' is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

and

"508: Resource Limit Is Reached
"The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later."

Was able to log on soon after, shortly after 5:00.

According to Theo/Clive the service providers have been having problems but all is now well.

I'd hoped this might be the "upgrade" announced by Theo yesterday, but seems it is just a manifestation of the problem? Theo's not posted a 'time' yet, and I'm getting up to a minute to post, or even just now to list the site's "boards'

This error is now fixed. It was a consequence of the problems our web hosts experienced yesterday. It is not related to any upgrade plans.
