Theta Music Training
« on: November 24, 2014, 05:43:51 PM »

This programme has just come to my notice via Facebook and I thought it may be of help to budding musicians. I have nothing whatsoever to do with this site and as such cannot vouch for its integrity, use at your own risk.
I've had a quick look at what it has to offer and it does seem to answer a lot of questions that often come up on Melnet including tune learning and suitable chords and how to recognise them, as well as music theory.
I did a Melnet search for theta and nothing came up in the search so I assume its not been mentioned on here before.

it declines to work on this iPad, but a lot of it, eg recognise chords, name intervals, parrot a phrase back, etc is very much what happens on the Grenoble Impro courses, though it's a bit more fun there! ;)

So … looks good so far. i'll try it on a PC tomorrow.
