That sounds gorgeous, Clive!!! And a nice looking melodeon, I have a weakness for blonde instruments...

Hello all,

I've been reading the site for a while, but this is my first post and also my first completed attempt at Tune of the Month. I'm very much a beginner, which I think does show in the video (!). I do try to practice when I get chance, but any other suggestions about how to improve would be gratefully received.   :||:

We're off into September, but if you have new recordings of the Nutting Girl, please continue to post them up here!

I do love the tune of the month even though the thought of posting makes me cringe. Nevertheless, here is my attempt at the Nutting Girl. Thanks to all who participated for your help... I would never have heard this music without you!

My current project recorded in one take complete with fluffs and melodeon face! (:)

I've been trying to work on "danceability" - any feedback gratefully received.  Cheers.  N

Can't comment from a Morris perspective but it felt very engaging and you kept my interest throughout. I wanted to hear where the tune was going next, from the light to the bolder sections and back, the slower to the faster. What also stood out was how light the bass use was, and what a good bass tone that box has. Great.
