Cheesy old Hohners - the roots of MAD?
« on: December 20, 2015, 07:34:41 PM »

From the Independent (so it must be true:)
Quote
Using the Yale Food Addiction Scale, designed to measure a person’s dependence on, scientists found that cheese is particularly potent because it contains casein.

The substance, which is present in all dairy products, can trigger the brain’s opioid receptors which are linked to addiction.
Now, we all know a lot of Hohner buttons were made of casein - the conspiracy theorists were right after all

Certainly explains the Liliput / Preciosa event horizon Malcolm, although there seems something similar afoot with the Mignon & Giordy  ???
Interestingly, some mornings I wake up grumpy, but more often she wakes first, must investigate if there is a cheese related aspect to this.........
