Conor Connolly, Des Mulkere & Charlie Harris
« on: January 23, 2015, 04:53:25 PM »

Several people asked if they could hear it, so this is the sound of my "brand-new" 60-year old, jet-black, Paolo Soprani "pepperpot grille" 10-key, 2-voice, box in D ("unsold stock" from the old Italian Accordion Mfg. Co. in Chicago) being given a good "road test" by Conor Connolly and ringing out over some stiff opposition from Des Mulkere's Framus banjo and Charlie Harris' "Holy Grey" Paolo. The pepperpot is a very light and agile, but punchy little box, in perfect original "factory" tuning - this is how they sounded when they were new, with a good man driving 'em!   :||:

That'd be pretty typical for our Saturday night session...  ;D
