Think all mine have been nicked from someone or other - but it's not just notes.

The better groups put in timing dynamics, clever variation - here's a nice deconstruct I posted here in August. eg quick burst of harmonic minor verse 3! Great end, by simply using different chord voicing. These "jangle" sus chords are a particular favourite of mine that I use more and more on box. But I did end my teens doing close harmony song in Gosforth Trad Music Club :|glug

That's really nice, Chris, must have a go at writing some harmony lines in that sort of way....
