It's the Mitch band, love it! Every submission I've seen so far this month has been excellent, keep it up folks!

Wow, a lovely submissions so far!

Here's my contribution:

https://youtu.be/IuFW65xY7Kg

I knew the tune already (I am a mandolin and guitar player), so figured it might be a good choice for my first TOTM.

I've been playing for 2 and a bit months, and was inspired by Mel Biggs and her Fort-Tune project, so I recorded where I am at with this tune after two days, and will make another recording at the end of the month, when it will (hopefully) be less mistake ridden and have some left hand going along with it.

That's sounding great! It'll be really interesting to see how it turns out at the end of the month :)

Here's one from me. I'd had a couple of glasses of wine, so it includes some slurrings & wanderings (I believe they're the technical terms)

Not sure what happened there; says public at my end. Took a long time processing though; maybe that's something to do with it. Please let me know if you're still having difficulty.

My effort played on my Hohner pressed wood on AD, it's a lovely mellow sounding box, courtesy of Dr. Frankenbottom.

Wow, I have just returned from California a few days ago, where I was (blissfully) unable to receive media and social-type networking. Certainly a great batch of offerings here already, and I am hereby offering my humble and hasty pastiche, with Hohner G/C, Cittern, and Concertina, with some of my recently snapped photos of the place itself, to divert your attention from the rather numerous fluffs and timing errors in the music.  ;)

Well - that proved a lot trickier than I expected!  :Ph
I never had the tune in my repertoire but was very familiar with 'deconstructed' versions from Rees-era EII and Tiger Moth. I'm hoping for a 'different' version from Rees - maybe a bit of dub?
Here's my 'straight' attempt anyway:

A bit late this month - the studio's been a mess with some construction work going on, but it's all done now, so I'm in with a day to spare before the end of April.

Thanks for the comment Robotmay. I almost didn't post anything as I wasn't happy with my progress on the tune. I guess the background singer was a plus.  (:)
Excellent as always Anahata
