Hello all,

Here it is my attempt: https://youtu.be/wiLpY5a9uhU

Not easy for me to do this rythm x>xx>x through the all tune, and I'm not sure if it is the way it should be  :o I would appreciate any comments on this.

Anyway, it's nice to learn to play british tunes ;)

Nice recordings Sebastian and Pequod!

This tune is driving me nuts. All my boxes apart from my Lilium are away on holiday at the moment, and I'm finding it incredibly tiring trying to get the punctuation I can get on the anglo onto this box. It seems to suit punchy lightweight boxes a bit better, at least in the way I'm trying to play it.

When I listen back to my recording, I find several places where I would wish a less punctuated and more broad and evenly paced playing. I didn't hear that, while I was playing (well, I had other problems, obviously).

Anyway, I would like to hear you fighting against a box. Normally you seem to be in complete harmony with them. 8)

After 30 days of listening to me beat this tune about the head and shoulders, my dear, supportive, long-suffering wife declares that it is her favorite. Of course, she says this every month.

That's really superb. I like very much how you use the basses for short rhythmic accents.

Haha, thanks! I've been told I have a similar technique on the anglo concertina as well. I think I might be a bit too soft on them sometimes when they really need a bit of welly ;D

I'm fed up of trying to get a perfect recording, so this'll have to do!
