You're quite right Malcolm, it's not to be, I've also been talked out of it by "Her indoors"  :'(

But it's only a little box...you say no to squeeze boxes and you say no to life ( or is that say no to champagne...the effect is similar).

Well I took the plunge and ordered one before the rush started. I get the feeling that this is going to be big. Pun intended.  ;D

If anyone would like to know more about the Georgian tsiko-tsiko I may be able to help.  My neighbour across the street is Georgian and goes back there at least once a year.  She's got me two salamuris so far.

Here's a sound sample of the tsiko-tsiko:

http://www.hangebi.ge/eng/tsiko-tsiko-tune.html

There is a nice tradition about them described in the Garland Encyclopedia of World Music.  Women were often given them as engagement presents and subsequently buried with them.  (So if you were really desparate you simply need to learn how to identify women's names in mkhedruli script and visit a few Georgian graveyards with a shovel...)

I managed to pay by Pay Pal and to the buyer there is no charge whatsoever.  If the seller has a Pay Pal account then you're Quids in  ;D
