reeds in HA114 and Erica
« on: May 22, 2015, 04:14:22 AM »

A query...I often play my 4-stop, 1-row HA114 with just the two middle (MM) stops open, as I like the sound of it.  Would this essentially be the same sound I would get from a Hohner Erica? I know the Erica is also a two voice instrument, but I'm wondering if it would be the same kind of reeds in both? Would they basically sound the same, or is the Erica a step above (potentially) as far as reed quality and sound goes?  Thanks.

They are the same reeds in both boxes.
