 :||: Oh dear what can the matter be - etc  :||:

Burying in dry sawdust and sticking in a low oven (AGA bottom temp. equivalent) for a number of hours works well.

Depending on degree of 'contamination' a dunk in Eau de Anglesey, Dolgoch Drips, Snowdon Snowwater or similar expensive bottled H2O (others are available) may be advisable.

Blow out with airline, bycycle pump, over tuning table or souped up windjammer bellows.

Hope it wasn't one of those "long drop" bogs like they have in Third World countries...and at some Australian folk festivals!   >:E

Not a new tune but a real life event.

Great tune name though, perhaps you should write the tune to match?  :||:

Didn't John Kirkpatrick write a song about just such an event?

I now have two choices....mow the lawn, or try to find out if he did or not.

I wonder which will win?  >:E

Perhaps a modern take on the old music hall song "Your Baby Has Gone Down the Plughole" is appropriate....

A fellow used his i-phone in the toilet one night;
'Twas the latest of 6, such a delicate mite.
He was a bit pissed; the i-phone was thin,
Just some electronicals, covered in skin...

He reached for the toilet-roll off of the rack;
He was only a moment, but when he turned back
His i-phone had gone and in anguish he cried:
"Oh, where is my i-phone?" The angels replied:

You're i-phone has gone down the toilet;
Your i-phone has gone down the loo;
The poor little thing was so skinny and thin
And shouldn't be dropped where you poo... (where you poo)

Your i-phone is perfectly happy;
It won't need to be charged anymore.
Apple's have a big rap, but not for use where you c**p,
Not lost, just gone before.

I thought it had to be "bogs" if it wasn't the very wet stretch of ground upon which my ancestors trotted, but rather -- the loo!

My son (we are Americans of distant Irish descent) at age 11 saw one of my Boys of the Lough albums and called them the Boys of the Loo. Out of the mouths of babes??
