Three more tunes played and demonstrated for the Horsmonden workshops!
As usual with tunes, each one has something to teach - Jacky Tar is a wonderful tune that's really good practice for playing in minor keys, Starry Night is an easy piece that is good for learning by ear but also provides some opportunities for a little embellishment, and The Tipsy Parson includes a run down the scale against an A7 chord that requires the player to use the A on the pull from the G row... (as so often, the easier pushed A on the D row is nothing like so good!)
Have fun, and do come to the Horsmonden workshops, if you're in the area. The people who come say there's nothing like them for many miles...
