Mike Gott:
Link to a very interesting site by a German Hohner Corona enthusiast with lots of photos of the old Hohner factory and a tour round the current one in Trossingen with photos of reed construction, fitting, tuning etc, and mostly in English: http://www.peterunbehauen.de/p/06-hohner.html

Cool site!

Did you see that melodeon thing with 5 rows of 20/21 buttons! Its huge.
Probably had a full 120 bass system as well but we couldn't see it

Mike Gott:
The link I've provided takes you straight to the "new" factory tour photos. To look at the pictures of the derelict old factory, go to the index and select "akkordeon". Does anyone know what has happend to the old factory - has it been demolished or turned into flates or something like that?

Now that's a real accordion! Similar item in the Hohner Catalogue

__.  Wow, that huge!  And 13 kilos.  But look at all those bass buttons ... it would probably sound like a p#$%o accordion, or maybe even a BCC# (sorry, GG, *somebody* had to be the one to say it ...).
