Corona II or III?
« on: December 17, 2007, 01:55:10 AM »

I have a few offers to buy a good condition Corona II and Corona III.

Apart for the 2-voiced and 3-voice feature, is there anything else that make those models apart? These are older models made in Germany.

Thanks.

Extra reeds means more expensive, more air used and usually a larger, heavier box so that may colour your selection so lots of quick bellow waggles might be harder to achieve and the reeds may take longer and or more effort to sound.  My best advice though (if at all possible) is to suck it and see which one you prefer!

While the three reed makes for a richer sound, the III is somewhat slower and less responsive. Depends on how quick you want to play.
