Is there any way to create a favourites list of topics or individual posts - so that if I want to revisit a link posted by someone I don't have to remember how to find it?

I'm afraid not.

You can turn on notification for individual topics which will notify you when replies are added.

You could create bookmarks with your browser...
Hohners: Preciosa Bb/Eb - Club IV Bb/Eb - Presswood C/F -
Pokerwork C -- Weltmeister 509 G/C/F - Horch C/F (12 bass)
PAs: Cantulia bambi 26 - Hohner Verdi II - Hohner Lucia IV
Stagi 20b C/G GC - Lachenal Excelsior Treble (+ low F) EC

be warned of my SC page, mainly concertina thus far

I create a folder in my email program. I turn on notifications, unless I have posted to a thread in which case they are turned on automatically.  Think that's the default.
When someone posts to the thread I get an email reminder with a link, which I stash in the Melnet folder.

It's not perfect, thread titles are not always the most helpful, but it works well enough. Usually, once I have a reminder, I turn off notifications and just read new stuff on the forum.

I would second the Blue Eyed Sailor's suggestion. It's what I do, and I'm currently producing a lovely long line of yellow melodeons!
Although I can carry on messing with melodeons, the ongoing attention of the Ministry of Truth and the Thought Police will (no doubt) eventually teach me to really love Big Brother!
