Thanks for the tips! I removed the purple underscores in the B part. I did not know that it automatically knows that the notes are flat by the key.

I changed the tied F to a D. I did not know about the balancing of the phrase lengths. Thanks for the tip. (:)

Here's the updated version.

Code: [Select]
X:1
T:Forest Path Waltz
M:3/4
L:1/4
C:J.S.
K:F
f e d | c2 f | e d ^c | c3 | e d ^c | c2 e | f e d | c3 |
f e d | c2 f | e d ^c | c3 |1  e d ^c | c d e | f3 | c3  :|2 c2 ^c | d2 e | f3 | c3 ||
A2 c | f2 c | e2 d | d3 | G2 B | e2 d | d2 c | c3 |

That's much better!

The balancing of musical phrase or line lengths is similar to the lines of a poem, or of a song (I mean a real song, one with words which are sung).
It mostly sounds ('scans') better if they are a similar length. Difficult to explain but I'm sure you know what I mean. (You sing hymns, I guess  ;) )

Dear God, thank you for helping me get, and play the melodeon, and harmonica. I am extremely grateful for these gifts! Amen.

I recorded the Forest Path Waltz. Enjoy!  ;D
