Horsmonden workshop tunes and Youtubes
« on: November 01, 2015, 09:47:40 AM »

Just one tune this week, as we're mainly practising for the dance at Frittenden on the 28th, where as usual the class will be the band. Come and join us if you can - we're a friendly group, and the rule that as a musician you always learn something whenever you work with someone new (whoever they are, and at whatever standard) applies...

The routine is as usual - I play it as I normally do, and then play it simply and slow in sections for learning by ear (and, hopefully,  seeing the fingers, as there's some interesting row-crossing against a C chord).

The very useful three part jig Paddy Carrey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UbS2R6SR6k
