Melodeon Lessons
« on: May 28, 2016, 02:52:14 PM »

I have recently started playing the melodeon. Following good advice from individuals on this site I am working through recommended tutorial material.  This is going ok.  I would however like to have 4 or so face to face lessons to make sure I am not picking up too many basic bad habits which may then prove difficult to get rid of.  Does anyone know of anyone in the Newark on Trent/ Notts/Lincs area who might be able to help?  Thanks for any help.

I'd recommend Liam Robinson in Lincoln,  or look on our Teachers Page for people in your area or who do lessons by Skype.

Hi
I recommend Mel Biggs. She does lessons by skype and face to face. On the latter point, Mel has recently moved to Castley Gresley (near Swadlincote) and so not too far from yourself. She is a member of this Group.
You also might be interested in the "Derbyshire PlayGroup" which will meet in October - there is  a Topic about it on this site.

I'd recommend Liam Robinson in Lincoln...

Unfortunately Liam has been very ill and currently is not playing or teaching. His wife has requested that nobody should try to contact him for the foreseeable future.
