   My friend Charlie Pilzer (Washington DC area) has one of the Castignari's that has the accidentals "reproduced" by two buttons inside the inner row (so it's kind of a "2-row + 2").   These two buttons are linked to the accidentals at the top (i.e. "chinward") end of the buttons - they just give you a more convenient fingering if you're playing at the treble end of the rows.  I wondered if there was some kind of linkage between the extra buttons and the "missing pallets".  Now we know.

André's just posted another clip, taking the box for another good run through the keys (C# minor anyone? ;D) - I'd guess this is one of the production models, and sounds superb. 8)

It mentions an 'Improved Keyboard' - one would assume this relates to the auxiliary action/mechanism...

It says that the white notes are on the push (en fermant) and the grey notes are on the pull (en ouvrant).

It well shows the "two-pull" situation when changing octave in the middle and the upper end of the keyboard. Seems logical!
