« on: October 04, 2016, 08:48:01 PM »

Hi,
Can anyone help me please with button positions for d/g melodeon (I don't read music) I want to play The Irish Rover in the key of 'G' ?

Thank you in advance.

Peter.

Learning to read the melody line of music, while not essential, is such a useful skill that I'd recommend putting the effort in  (:)
However, in the short term there's a site that will convert ABC notation into sheet music with the button numbers underneath. I'll have a look and post a link if someone doesn't get there first

it starts with button 5 & 6 ( from chin end)  both push the next note will not be far away so just poke and prod and push and pull until you find it - then do the same for the next one etc et.  Each time you add another note play it from the beginning so you don't forget the notes already found- simple!
