Thank you - I fear I may have overdone the reverb a little this month though!  ;D I'm very pleased with the box - it's lovely, and the workmanship is astonishing (on the outside anyway, not opened it up yet) and because it's not as dry tuned as my other boxes gives a different feel to what it plays.

Danbury Hill, The Plane Tree and The Hop Break.  I realise that Anahata has already submitted Danbury Hill, but it is such a great tune I hope you don't mind me adding my version.  And I also see that The Plane Tree was tune of the month some time ago - so apologies again!

Danbury Hill, The Plane Tree and The Hop Break.

Fabulous - well played!
And The Hop Break is a new one on me that sounds worth learning.

Big raise in the bar. (Not for you Anahata, just from the sort of thing I might hope to achieve).

Thanks!  I don't know about lots of tunes you'd like to hear - I know lots, but not sure they are that unusual.  And yes, I did meet you Anahata (and Mary) a few years back!  Chris (Jewell).

I've lost count on how many times I've tried to record this!  It's a bit shabby in places but it's probably the best I'll be able to do and we're rapidly running out of November.  Here's my attempt at Jiggery Pokerwork and Jump At The Sun.

Well done, not for the faint of heart those two! Right-o, onto the next theme; stick late contributions on the end here as ever!

Bah, one day late and a not-entirely minor not-entirely jig recording: https://soundcloud.com/robotmay/suspended-slip-jig
It's some funky Julian Sutton thing I found via a recording on YouTube. I think he wrote it for a youth music workshop.

I do actually! I found a transcription of it on The Session:

Quote
X: 1
T: Suspended Slip Jig
O: Julian Sutton
R: slip jig
M: 9/8
L: 1/8

I've been a bit liberal with the bass timing, don't think mine matches up to that much ;D
