Software for Melodeon Tab
« on: November 24, 2016, 09:50:07 AM »

Is there any free Windows software around which will import an ABC file, and then let you add a 'custom' tab line below the dots notation?

Why? - I'm looking for a simple way to store tunes with my annotations/reminders on fingering etc as an aide memoire for when I revisit that tune in the future.
Currently these tend to be scribbled on a printout of the tune.

I'm not looking to 'auto-tab' a whole tune, and could probably work within the constraints of one of the established melodeon tabs e.g Corgeron or CADB.

Any suggestions?

Use the (lower case) w: field to add your annotations/reminders as if they were lyrics below the stave?    Vince
