It's 'My Grandfather's Clock'.

I think many of us have known it since childhood. My Dad used to sing it to me, which is how I originally learned it.

Written in 1876 by the famous American songwriter Henry Clay Work, and a constant in my childhood (early 1950s) memory. The song was inspired during a visit to England - see here for the history: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Grandfather's_Clock

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.
