bass end linking soprani liliput
« on: December 25, 2016, 02:23:49 PM »

Quick answer. I have had the back off my small italain soprani "liliput", its the same case different reeds italian and seems to have a different chord arrangement. On the hohner you have pairs ,button bass and button Chord. One large bass hole one pallet to lift. smaller three holes the other pallet to lift. This has always sounded different but I notice button one lifts two pallets bass and pallet with two holes and button two lifts another pallet with two holes. If both buttons pushed then three pallets are lifted then bass and four holes. My question is this bass with 5th ? and then adding third or is it chord and adding something a duplication or a 7th. To my ear they sound more modal than full chord.
many thanks
