Gepetto / Pinokkio
« on: February 21, 2017, 09:34:13 AM »

More goodness out of Flanders (in Hartwin's case, now Estonia). I don't personally like rhythm changes mid medley ... but they are telling a story here: a fairly story ;)

Gorgeous instrumentation and arrangement as ever  (:)  The box is the 'full size' van der Aa.

Fantastic. Thanks for the link. I personally love changes mid-stream. Don't know which tune I want to learn first.

Though he'd do well, some 6 years back ...

BTW There's (yet) another new kid on the  Belgian block.  Hartwin d'Hoore who has extremely powerful technique but is self taught. He reminds me very much of Pignol in his 20's and even holds his head the same way when he plays. A name to watch, m'thinks.

In the event he's moved to a 'mellow' style far more quickly than Norbert did. They both have deep grasp of harmony, and timing.  :|glug

Thanks for posting this. I listened to several of their videos. A friend recently purchased a hurdy gurdy. It was a long held dream of his. I been meaning to visit him and see how well we can play together.
