« on: March 22, 2016, 08:46:19 PM »

Do any of you kind folk the name and have the dots (or ABC) for the  tune that goes with the  Vital Spark (Para Handy)
One of my so called friends suggested I should learn to play it. Who needs enemies?

If you mean the catchy jig which is the theme tune, it is by Phil Cunningham and is called "Manus Lunny's Plower Pop" (sic)

X: 1
T: Manus Lunny's Terracotta Plower Pop
R: jig
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
K: Gmaj

Do you mean the theme for the 60's original, or the more recent series? Different tunes, I think....

The original is copyright, and for good reason.  The composer made quite a lot from selling the sheet music (which must still be in print).  One music shop in Glasgow had it in the middle of their window display for years.

I can't figure out how to quit but I will no longer check this group and have deleted all shortcuts to it.
