The tone is not as mellifluous as the old cast-iron piggyphones but that is the penalty of portability  ;D

If you suffer a hankering for playing the piggyphone Nick, let me know and I'll arrange a supply of Oil of Evening Plumrose capsules for you as a homeopathic substitute  ;)

I took the opportunity to pass it to colleagues at work during a particularly stressy morning.
It did the trick! ....and left at least one person wondering how on earth you would think of combining all those ideas to achieve that?
At least they all laughed out loud. Mission accomplished  8)

We used to get punning in phases at work sometimes Q - someone would innocently mention a type of fish or other foodstuff in conversation (as is normal where food processing machinery is made) and for days onward, more and more obscure fish names would suddenly appear embedded as an approximation of a word in a sentence - until one day someone would groan that it couldn't get any worse then nothing for weeks or months when suddenly you'd realise say a vegetable had just appeared in place of some other word and off it went again - It seemed to blank out some interdepartmental bickering so was not squashed, surprisingly enlightened given other management actions  :o

Quite fond o puns but they sound much better than they reed, if we started here Theo would soon bellow, then we'd have to stop on the button before there were a pallet load of complaints  ;)

19 posts so far with a disproportionate number from Nick Collis Bird and Broadland Boy.
