Has anyone an idea how to stop clattering buttons?
Thanks.

What box is it? And are you having problems with bass, treble or both?

First job is to identify the source of the noise. It could be: hard pallet facings, buttons hitting edges of keyboard holes, buttons hitting a hard stop under the buttons,  loose linkage if it has reverse action levers.  First identify the sources of the noise.

The clattering seems to happen when the button is released and the faster I play, the more noise it makes (like a clap), does this make any sense?
Thanks.

That sounds like pallet facings.  The solution is to remove the pallets, replace the facing material with new felt/leather of the same thickness, then check the button heights and adjust if required  to get them all the same again.

If it's any help this is a job that a patient DIYer can tackle. I've done it 2 o3 times myself and it is satisfying. You'll find a huge amount of discussion on which glue to use. Bostik contact adhesive (for the leather onto the pallets, hot glue gun for the pallets onto the lever ends) does work fine and is often recommended by others here. Charlie Marshall of CGM musical supplies (google) sells lovely palette facing material in Persian leather / Felt by the sheet. Take your time and don't try to solve problems too hurriedly - for example there might be one or two pallets less happy to release from the levers - but just take a minute to think before applying too much frustration force.
As others have said there is a lot of info on various threads but I found this one most useful:

I went with Steve Freereeder's reply #1 - which will save you a lot of trawling.
Enjoy - it's like smoking a pipe with a glass of whisky, without the health issues.

The only thing to be wary about in replacing the pallet facings with Charlies' best is it may well require you to adjust all the button heights as the new and probably thicker  facings will move the buttons down towards the keyboard. So be ready for some judicious bending of levers.
