Vanishing Chords!
« on: March 25, 2017, 11:34:03 PM »

This is a problem where I've never come across the like before. My favourite ABC tool is ABCNavigator and I have been copying "Tiger Rag" from sheet to ABC. What happens is that when I type in "z" for a rest after a notated chord - eg "Bb", the chords do not show up on the displayed dots. They still show up on the abc record and indeed, I can get them to display if I go round the houses to produce the tune as a pdf, using ABCedit. Does anybody know what causes this please and if it is curable?

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

If  it is a fault that has developed recently it might be worth reinstalling the  software (but I don't actually use navigator, so I don't know its quirks).
