Joe le Taxi on YouTube
« on: July 19, 2009, 01:13:06 AM »

Just discovered this on YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ_n0pdYxJg

Shame our bass player is hidden behind the curtain, or perhaps she went to the bar!

...... before you ask, it's a Wesson Clipper in C.
The tune is one of my own, it's called The Romero Waltz (in G).

I'd broken my clip-on mic during the soundcheck so I was glued to a mic stand and couldn't do my usual sexy footwork.

Great stuff! Though I can well understand how being glued to a mic stand would be inhibiting..thought you were walking oddly when we last met Rees!

Great! I'd love to see more cajun and zydeco being posted here. Nice work, Rees.

Nice one Ress but I prefer you in your Vanessa Paradis form but will admit she is not such a good box player as you. (:)

Any 'Smoke' dates left? I only ask as you might have the problem of the full Croydon and Sarf Lundun Massive's Palm Court Orchestra sax section, alto and two tenors, joining in on the Fats Domino, or the Lady Day memorial sections of your sets.  ;)
