Everyone who has previously registered their interest in advance has been sent an e-mail with a link to the booking and payment forms. General booking for everyone else should be available via the MIW website very shortly. The weekend is proving very popular, so early booking is advised.
Steve, I haven't had an email, but I did already book my accommodation - could you send me a link?

If you haven't received an e-mail, it is probably because you haven't joined the Melodeons in Wensleydale mailing list, which you can do from the website. If you have joined the mailing list and haven't received an e-mail, please PM me because something must have gone wrong.

We felt that it was only fair to to let those on the mailing list have first chance to book, otherwise there would be no benefit to joining the mailing list. However, the website will permit bookings from everybody else from tomorrow.

Can I double check - as I can't quite find the answer in the thread. Saturday is working with one tutor group all day - not two separate groups (same on Sunday) - so choice 2 is only there as a back up? Is that right?

Oh dear. I missed a field on the form, directed back to complete it and then clicked to pay. Only then noticed that it had reset my group choices all to John Spiers.
Sorry - I'll pm real choices - to Bob?

Excellent. Choices made. Payment made. John Spiers session opted for - don't want to be dis-mayed. French maid.

The booking is now open to all.

Click on this link to go to the "how to book"  page which will direct you to the booking forms, depending on your payment method.

Hi Bob,
just sent my GBP 80. My wife is joining me to Hawes. She will not take part in any workshops but like to join for the tutors concert. The website does not say anything about extra tickets for the concert. Can you advise?

Hi Jan,

Yes, we have received your booking and payment. I'll e-mail you about how to book an extra concert ticket for your wife.

After an initial flurry, bookings for Melodeons in Wensleydale are continuing steadily. Two-thirds of the available places have been filled and some of the workshops are almost full. If you are planning to book, then it would be advisable to do so as soon as possible, or you may find that one or both of your preferred workshops is already full.

We are planning to send out sheet music and recordings of the tunes to course members in February so that you have plenty of time to familiarise yourselves with the tunes in advance of the workshops. This will enable the tutors to focus on technique, expression and interpretation rather than spending valuable time teaching the basic tunes.

My wife has specifically said that she doesn't. And don't ask about the kids.
