One row gig bag
« on: June 23, 2017, 11:04:38 PM »

I know this has been discussed before, but does anyone have suggestions for a reasonable quality padded gig bag for a one-row? I've looked at previous topics here, but the best suggestion was the Peavey PV 2k, which is either unavailable or only available from the US (I'm in the UK), and then the costs nearly double due to postage and import tax...and I need two. Any suggestions would be welcome, and apologies if I've missed a topic and am duplicating....

Thanks,
Guy

The smaller Fuselli standard works well for me  ( http://www.manifatturefuselli.com/AccordionBagsStandard.aspx ).  It is sold for 2-row boxes like a Hohner Erica, but it's fine for a 1-row too.  I have a Peavey as well.  The Peavey is a tighter fit for the box but it's larger overall because it has many large accessory pockets.

The Fuselli bags are excellent quality. They are available from Acorn Instruments/Pete Ward of this parish.

The Fuselli professionnal is nicer overall than their standard model, however with the extra padding it is a bit smaller and not tall enough to accommodate a typical German (aka Cajun) 1-row in the standing position.

Thanks Steve-that's exactly the sort of information I needed. I've sent an enquiry to Pete...
