Andrew Mac Namara's new CD
« on: August 28, 2017, 12:25:44 PM »

Andrew Mac Namara has released a lovely new CD called 'From Camden to Tulla', with Karen Ryan on fiddle and Pete Quinn on keyboard. They play with a great feel and lift to the music. You can listen to the tracks at https://camdentotulla.bandcamp.com/releases

The CD cover shows him with a Hohner Corona 3 row box. Are the daggy old Hohners becoming retro chic now?

I met Andrew about 30 years ago in San Francisco. Have followed him for years. (Box Stalker)

Curious as to the tuning of the Corona 3 row.

I'd never seen Andrew with any Hohner before, though he was asking me if I had a 2-row one I could sell him last year. I'll ask him about the Corona next time I see him.

In the meantime, I must get the CD...

I heard he played a Hohner on the album Open Hearth. Would make sense if it was a B/C double ray, as the album is in C.
